Tiger Woods' March 2026 rollover accident and subsequent DUI arrest prompted an indefinite step-away announcement for health treatment and rehabilitation, including three months in Switzerland that extended into June. Ongoing recovery from multiple prior back surgeries and a ruptured Achilles continues to limit full practice and 72-hole walking, with the 50-year-old explicitly stating he remains "ways away" from finalizing any 2026 schedule. No PGA Tour entries have been submitted for majors or regular events, and he has competed only in limited TGL exhibition play since the 2024 Open Championship. These confirmed barriers, alongside missed entry deadlines, underpin the 61.5% implied probability traders assign to him not appearing in any PGA Tour stroke-play event this year.
