G2 Minnesota enters the BO5 matchup with stronger recent form in the CDL 2026 Stage 4 Major Qualifiers, sitting fourth in the standings on a 2-1 series record and 8-6 map count after a competitive 3-2 win over OpTic Texas. Toronto KOI, rebranded from Toronto Ultra, has posted weaker results, including a 0-3 loss to Carolina Royal Ravens, and sits near the bottom of the qualifier table with limited points accumulation. Head-to-head trends favor Minnesota, which has taken recent series against KOI, while both teams navigate the online qualifier format that rewards consistent map wins across Search & Destroy, Hardpoint, and Control. Rosters remain stable heading into the June contest, with G2’s depth in slaying and objective play providing an edge in a closely contested North American matchup.
