Both the expansion Palm Beach Royals and defending champion Columbus Sliders enter this group-stage matchup at MLP St. Petersburg with balanced rosters that support the even implied probability. The Royals feature high-profile additions including Tyson McGuffin, Sofia Sewing, and Tina Pisnik alongside Dekel Bar, giving them strong mixed and women’s doubles options in their second event. The Sliders counter with Parris Todd fully integrated after her 2026 return, plus established pairings that delivered consistent results earlier in the season. Florida-based familiarity for the Royals, combined with the Sliders’ championship experience, creates tight competition across formats. Confirmed lineups, any last-minute availability changes, or standout individual performances in recent group play could shift trader sentiment ahead of the June 18 contest.
