Pucar holds a clear ranking advantage at world No. 29 compared to Lim Jonghoon’s No. 71, bolstered by strong recent form at the WTT Contender Zagreb 2026 where he reached the semifinals after a 3-1 win over Manav Thakkar. As a Croatian player competing in his home country, Pucar benefits from familiar conditions and crowd support in the men’s singles draw. Lim, a left-handed shakehand player with prior higher rankings and doubles success, showed resilience with a 3-1 victory over Dimitrij Ovtcharov but has posted mixed results overall, including a five-game loss in Skopje. Their prior encounters and stylistic matchup favor Pucar’s consistency in this round-of-32 clash.
