The 24-year-old Russian has shown consistent form with compact forehand loops and quick recovery play that exploits openings effectively, while 32-year-old Maharu Yoshimura sits lower in the rankings around No. 49 and has struggled with results against rising competition after earlier career peaks. Trader consensus at near-certain levels for Sidorenko reflects these gaps in current form, physical prime, and head-to-head trends. Even at overwhelming implied probability, factors like an unforeseen injury withdrawal, significant serving adjustments by Yoshimura, or an off-day could still shift the outcome in table tennis's high-variance individual format.
