Wushuang Zheng and Yuhan Wang, both Chinese players, meet in the opening round of the ITF W50 Wuning on hard courts. The 27-year-old Zheng holds the higher WTA ranking near 485 with a career high of 237, though her 2026 singles record sits around 11-12 amid inconsistent results. The 18-year-old Wang ranks near 721 and brings recent momentum, including a straight-sets victory over Zheng at the W100 Luan event in March. Their head-to-head stands at 1-1 overall, but Wang’s straight-sets win highlights stylistic edges in aggressive baseline play. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect either player entering the match.
