Republican Beth Van Duyne holds a clear advantage in Texas’s 24th congressional district, a suburban Dallas-Fort Worth seat with a Cook Partisan Voting Index of R+8 that Trump carried by double digits in 2024. Van Duyne, first elected in 2020, secured her party’s nomination without opposition in the March 2026 primary and won her last general election by 21 points. On the Democratic side, Kevin Burge emerged from a May 26 runoff to become the nominee. Forecasters rate the race Solid Republican, consistent with the district’s structural lean and the absence of any recent developments that would shift the balance before the November 3 general election.
