Incumbent U.S. Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D) faces a June 2, 2026, top-two primary in California's 37th congressional district, a seat redrawn under Proposition 50 and rated among the state's most Democratic. Multiple Democratic challengers and one Republican appear on the certified ballot, but Kamlager-Dove's prior primary and general election margins exceed 70 percent. The filing deadline closed in March with no reported major endorsements, fundraising shifts, or controversies altering candidate positioning. The top-two format means the two highest vote-getters advance regardless of party, though the district's partisan lean makes a Democratic sweep of the general election highly probable under current conditions.
